Cameron Caldwell

Cameron, Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Focus Finance and Competition Coordinator at Close the Deal, helped form the partnership between IE University and Focus Finance. Beyond Close the Deal, Cameron is considering careers in financial services and will intern at Morgan Stanley in their Hedge Fund Services team in the summer of 2021.

Ann-Sophie Niewerth

Ann-Sophie co-organizes Close the Deal together with Jorge. After having completed 5 investment banking internships throughout her undergraduate studies at European Business School and her graduate studies at IE Business School, she will start full time at J.P. Morgan in summer 2021.

Jorge San Roman

Jorge is Focus Finance’s branch lead at IE and co-organizes Close the Deal together with Ann-Sophie while finishing his undergraduate studies at IE. His experiences include internships at Solventis, HSBC, and the completion of several pro-bono consultancy projects.

Charlotte Dalenbrook

Charlotte is the web developer for Close the Deal. She studied Data Science and Knowledge Engineering at Maastricht University and is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Business Analytics and Big Data at the IE School of Human Sciences and Technology. After graduating in July 2021, she will begin her career as a data scientist.

Nelly Gather-Stammel

Nelly works with Anna on the marketing team. She graduated from the University of the Arts in London with an Interior & Spatial Design degree and moved on to study a Master's in Management at IE Business School.

Rachel Hill

Rachel is an associate at Focus Finance and a Coordinator of Close the Deal. Outside the competition, Rachel is an undergraduate Economics student at the University of Glasgow. Wanting to pursue a careers in finance, she will intern at J.P. Morgan in the spring of 2021.

Anna Neuber

Anna is part of the marketing team for Close The Deal together with Nelly Lavinia. She graduated from Bocconi with an Economics degree and moved on to study a Master's in Corporate Marketing at the IE School of Human Sciences and Technology.

María Llorente Sánchez

María is a double graduate in Law and Business Management, currently studying the Master in Management at IE Business School. She is VP of the IE Technology and Innovation Club and is a coordinator for Close the Deal. After graduating, María wants to pursue a career in Technology and Digital Economy.
